 We offer a variety of stand up boards, including the Surftech Laird Hamilton models ranging from 10’0” to 12’1”, in Softop, Tufflite and Wood versions; the Surftech Munoz 11’ and 12’ Softops; The Boardworks C4 Waterman Boards, ranging from 10’0” to 11’6”; and are working on design refinement for the CLC wood stand up board kit.   We are the moving force behind the creation of the San O’ 14 and 16 wood paddleboard kits manufactured by CLC. We additionally are a dealer for Eaton custom paddleboards, the Eaton 14’ racing and recreational models manufactured by Boardworks, as well as the Joe Bark 12’ and 14’ boards manufactured by Surftech. And, we specialize in hard to find paddleboarding accessories, such as chest risers, chin rests and hydration equipment.
  We have for many years been a dealer for Nimbus Sea Kayaks (manufactured by Rainforest Designs). Nimbus kayaks have a long standing reputation of being of excellent quality, design and functionally rigged by and for serious paddlers. We have recently begun a partnership with Navarro Canoes, manufacturers of beautiful composite/wood combination traditional American style canoes. We sell paddles from Sawyer Paddles, Nimbus Paddles and Cannon Paddles to cover every paddling need.

In business since 1993, Gray Whale Trading Co. has its roots in surfing and sea kayaking, as well as oceansports in general. Evolution through our years of business has landed us at the forefront of the paddleboarding and stand up paddling arenas, but still very much involved in sea kayaking. We are dealers for quality paddleboards, stand up boards and paddles, sea kayaks, and basic accessories for each of these. Additionally, we are partners with Chesapeake Light Craft (CLC) in the creation of wood kit paddleboards, stand up boards, and in the promotion of their many other fine small craft wood kits.
